LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for participating in the 1st ICTCMT.

Conference participants are invited to present their study in the form of either an oral communication or a poster presentation. Presenters of an Oral Communication will be allocated 12 minutes for their talk, whereas those who are selected for a poster presentation will be allocated to a discussion forum with 3-5 minutes presentation time each. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of the 1st ICTCMT. We hope that the Conference Proceedings will become a milestone and an important source of reference for the global TCM community in the ongoing fight against COVID-19 using tele-healthcare regimes. Please submit your abstract at the ICTCMT website before the closing date.

Special invitation:
Chinese medicines supply is crucial to the success of TCM tele-healthcare. How distributors of Chinese medicines solve supply chain issues during the pandemic and beyond would be of great interest to the TCM profession as a whole. If your had experience in or innovative methods for delivering Chinese medicines to patients, we would love to hear from you. We invite your company to publicize your methods and experience at the ICTCMT Trade Exhibition section, and become a supporting organization of the 1st ICTCMT (at no cost to you). Further information regarding how to submit a poster for the Trade Exhibition and become a supporting organization of the 1st ICTCMT can be found on the Trade Exhibition section of the ICTCMT website.

I look forward to your active participation and supports.

With best regards,

Dr ZHANG Shi Ping (Peter)
Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University.

We are proud to announce that the 1st International Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine Tele-healthcare (ICTCMT) will be held online on 26-27 August, 2022.

This online event is sponsored by the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University, in collaboration with the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). It will revolve around the practical theme “Developing TCM Tele-Healthcare Strategies to Combat COVID-19 and Post COVID Conditions ”, and will lay a global platform for interaction and discussion on the development of tele-healthcare in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

We are excited to tell you that a team of HKBU researchers has developed a smartphone tongue imaging method to assist TCM diagnosis, and many TCM practitioners have already adopted this method in tele-healthcare for COVID-19. We will be sharing this method in the conference to facilitate future TCM tele-healthcare practices.

If you are interested in TCM tele-healthcare, this online conference is right for you. It will be a unique opportunity for you to hear from frontline experts in the field and network with peers from the industry and academia to gain practical insights on the latest advances and challenges in this rapidly evolving area.

Registration for the Conference is free. Please register at your earliest convenience so that we can send you more information about the conference.

With best regards,

Dr ZHANG Shi Ping (Peter)
